Barr Gazetas build new Greenwich Peninsula Spire

The Peninsula Spire a new landmark for London
A new riverside landmark has been created for London with the installation at Greenwich Peninsula of the UK‚s tallest stainless steel sculpture. Standing taller than the Royal Albert Hall, The Peninsula Spire is 45 metres (147 ft) high and built in twisted and tapering stainless steel. It was designed by London-based architects Barr Gazetas and structural engineers Whitbybird, and made in Switzerland.

The Peninsula Spire will be a permanent art feature in Peninsula Square, a spectacular new outdoor space for London and the gateway to the new entertainment destination, The O2.
