Barr Gazetas refurbishment in Wood Green London

Parma House
This 33,000 square foot refurbishment in Wood Green also has a new build element which attaches to the front elevation. The opportunity was grasped to create a strong contrast to the existing warehouse in terms of materials and forms. The client, Workspace, have many offices in London of which all have a fascinating industrial past. This was previously a sweet factory and is the sister building to the Chocolate Factory opposite. The units are a variety of sizes and act as incubator units for a whole range of local start up businesses along with artists and crafts people. There is also a performance “incubator’ present in the form of Cameron Mackintosh Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts.
